Back to School Books

While we’re hesitant to tell anyone what to teach and mindful of adding to a morbidly obese curriculum, Data Science is an exploding discipline with implications for nearly every field. In a world awash in data, kids can benefit from experience with this exciting new computational science. The good news is that Jo Boaler and Cathy Williams have published an exciting new book for educators, Data Minds: How Today’s Teachers Can Prepare Students for Tomorrow’s World.

Everyone's talking about it - let's DO something
Dr. Ken Kahn has been working at the intersection of children learning, software development, and artificial intelligence since the early 1970s. His new book from CMK Press is a must-have for any educator being bombarded by nonsense about AI. The Learners Apprentice: AI and the Amplification of Human Creativity inspires educators to embrace Artificial Intelligence in knowledge construction. Cutting through the chatter, this innovative new book is intended to help teachers and students make things with AI and make learning better.

Enjoy the kiddos!
